Sophie Burkhardt receives first PRIME Research doctoral scholarship worth 25.000 Euro.

PRIME Research, Mainz and the group of Prof. Dr. Stefan Kramer from the Institute of Computer Science at the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (JGU) agreed to cooperate to promote young scientists. The renowned company for global media observation, strategic communication analysis, and business consultancy donates 25.000 Euro for the PRIME Research doctoral scholarship for a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Computer Science. This is the first time the scholarship was awarded and the grant holder is Sophie Burkhardt, receiving the grant for one year. Her research is concerned with the improvement of automatic text annotations within social and journalistic media.
