DAAD promotes exchange of PhD-students with China in the area of HPC
Prof. Bertil Schmidt, head of the research group High Performance Computing, and his team are very pleased to announce the funding approval of DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) for the project application "Development of kernel modules and parallel algorithms for analyzing NGS data", part of the funding programme "Programm Projektbezogener Personenaustausch China 2019". The group of PPP programmes currently consists of 32 bilateral individual programmes which are based on agreements with foreign partner organisations or governments. In the framework of this project Prof. Schmidt and his team will continue their already existing successful research cooperation with the University Shandong, China in High Performance Computing.
